Behaviour Management
We have behaviour expectations at Hawera Christian School and we expect the full support from parents when we are dealing with them. We ensure that things are dealt with when they are small so that they do not become big problems.
As a Christian school, we are committed to protecting our children from inappropriate influences and hold high expectations for behaviour.
At Hāwera Christian School:
- We do not play secular music or allow content that would be considered inappropriate by God’s standards.
- We do not allow children to talk about or play games or programs unsuitable for their age – even if permitted at home.
- We do not promote Halloween or celebrate any other day that goes against the Word of God.
We believe it is our responsibility to protect children from being exposed to certain things too early.
